On Friday 12 June, our Church honours the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is a time to reflect on both the divine and human love Jesus has for his Father and us, and a time for us to pray that our own hearts may become more like Jesus'.To celebrate this important Solemnity, we are holding a whole school Mass with our Parish of St Michael's Meadowbank at 9.15am. This Mass will also coincide with our Vinnies Winter Appeal week, and some of the donations made for those in need will be presented as part of the offertory.
After Mass, parents, carers, parishioners and younger siblings are invited to a special morning tea hosted by our Family Educator Kirrily McDermott, which will include refreshments, a faith reflection on the Sacred Heart and the opportunity to create a Sacred heart artwork to bring home.
We hope that many of our families will be able to join us for this special event. Please RSVP so that we know you are coming!
