Columbia County’s 250th Anniversary Finale
Join us in Town Square, Bloomsburg, on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 12:00 noon for the rededication of Columbia County’s historic Soldiers & Sailors Monument.
As Columbia County concludes its 250th anniversary celebration, the community will gather at this landmark to honor the men and women who served our nation and to recognize the history represented by the monument.
The ceremony will include historical remarks by Curtis Bratton of the Columbia County Historical Society, a keynote address by Robert Dunkelberger, and a cannon display and firing presented by G.W. Mears Post 505, Sons of Union Veterans. The ceremony will conclude with a moment of silence and the playing of Taps.
Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to visit the cannon display.
