Soldier Ride is at no cost to the warrior. All travel, lodging, and meals are covered by Wounded Warrior Project. If you are flying and check a bag, please click here to print out a letter that may help you have this fee waived. If the agent still makes you pay a baggage fee, please hold onto your receipt and you will be reimbursed for this expense.
LODGING
You will be asked to share a room with another participant of the same gender.
EQUIPMENT and PACKING
All Wounded Warrior participants will be provided with the appropriate equipment needed for the ride, to include:
1) A bicycle, hand cycle, recumbent, or tandem, as appropriate.
2) Any adaptive equipment needed to operate the cycle.
3) Cycling clothes (including a jersey and shorts).
4) Helmet.
Cycles and helmets will be loaned to individuals for use during their event. After the ride, cycles will remain the property of WWP. You will keep the bike clothing.

CAREGIVERS
Soldier Ride is a warrior exclusive event. Warriors are encouraged to attend on an individual basis. Children and guests are not permitted to attend.
SERVICE ANIMALS
During registration please indicate if you have a service animal and plan to bring your service animal to this Soldier Ride event. Services animals are permitted to attend WWP events provided their attendance is registered with WWP prior to the event, and the animal remains under the supervision and control of its owner at all times. In the event an activity is scheduled where the service animal cannot participate (such as cycling), the owner has a few available options:
1) the owner can leave the animal in the hotel room (subject to hotel policy; animal owner is responsible for providing crate/kennel as may be required);
2) the owner can leave the animal with a caregiver attending the event and the caregiver will not participate in the activity (animal may not be left with a WWP staff member);
3) the owner does not participate in Soldier Ride and may have the opportunity to register for an alternative event.
At no time will a WWP staff member or program provider staff member be responsible for control and/or supervision of a service animal. The warrior is solely responsible for control and supervision of the service animal. https://web.cvent.com/event/da86dde0-5715-4508-a057-8ad8812fff54
