The Roadhouse has something very special lined up for you this holiday season! Please gather with us on Tuesday, Dec. 10th for an unforgettable, mouthwatering Hungarian Jewish feast! The festive evening will include five courses of traditional dishes, and each bite will make you feel like you’ve been whisked away to the Jewish Quarter of Budapest. From start to finish, the menu has been designed by our Hungarian Roadie, Zsofie Towne, who will connect you with a lifetime of knowledge and passion about Hungarian Jewish foodways.
Head Chef Bob Bennett and Zsofie will cook up a meal that will have everyone talking well after the holidays are over. Guests will rave about the savory fish soup, hearty beef stew with dumplings, traditional stuffed cabbage, and the spread of our favorite Hungarian desserts from the Bakehouse. The RoHo Bar will prepare a spiced mulled wine for a festive toast, and if guests would like to try to prepare anything at home for their holiday table, ingredients will be available for purchase.
