Together, we'll honour the dark and welcome the returning light. In honour of the Solstice, please dress in dark colours and, if you like, bring a candle (in its own holder/ container) for the altar.
This pre-registered class is for folks who are thirsty for community practice, who crave the collective cauldron, and who are ready to steep in the medicine of 5Rhythms together in a safe-enough indoors space.
I warmly look forward to sharing these dances with you.
Practical instruction in Gabrielle Roth’s healing movement work, balanced with plenty of opportunity to explore your own dance. Deepen your personal practice of the 5Rhythms®, or dance a Wave for the first time; all ages (15+) and levels of experience are welcome.
Cost: $20
This will be our last class of the season ~ biweekly classes resume on January 10, 2023.
To register: complete and submit the pre-registration form (link is the first comment in the 'discussion' tab), then submit your payment by e-transfer to [email protected]. If you have previously completed the form, please confirm there is room on the date(s) you wish to attend, and then send your payment by e-transfer.
Pre-registered participants only; no drop-ins at the door. Capacity limited to 45 people total in the hall.
. . . . .
This class is open to folks who are double-vaccinated and who are willing to observe some simple pandemic-related protocols. Also for folks who are comfortable dancing together indoors, with kindness and respect for the ways that our fellow dancers may be at different levels of comfort in relation to sharing space. Proof of vaccination required.
Masks are welcome (however not required) on the dance floor.
