This workshop is now sold out! Sign up to the waiting list at the link provided and we’ll email you if a space becomes free or we decide to hold an extra session.
Try your hand at a heritage craft with one of our taster workshops in The Folk of Gloucester's historic Tudor building.
In this two-hour workshop, you can learn to use a rigid heddle loom with textiles artist Caroline of Weaving Cats. Combining ancient techniques with early 20th-century design, this small, portable loom is the perfect way for beginners to learn weaving.
Tickets are £25 per person and you will go home with a woven sample which you made during the session.
The Folk of Gloucester is a 500-year-old historic building in the Cathedral quarter with a tranquil garden and cosy cafe serving freshly-prepared lunches, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks.
