All day Saturday at Loftus Centre, Leederville and Sunday morning at Guild House, 365 Canning Highway, Alfred Cove.
Silk shading embroidery based on the original watercolour painting by Tom Montgomery, a West Australian artist, working in Broome. All ability levels are welcome, and tuition will be provided on all major aspects: Stitch length, angle and direction, order of stitching the birds, building up shading and texture.

Helen’s embroidery journey began when she joined the Royal School Of Needlework and completed the three-year apprenticeship, gaining expert knowledge in many fields of embroidery. She now regularly teaches at the school and has taught classes across the UK as well as in the United States and Canada. Based in Somerset, UK Helen loves hand embroidery and textile art and she is the founder of the Bluebird Embroidery Company, which showcases her embroidered artwork and her own range of embroidery kits.
