Turn floral inspiration into a glowing fused glass work of art.
Saturday, April 11 | 10 am
OKCMOA Studio Classrooms
Designed for ages 18+
Led by Jackie Nelson, Teaching Artist
Draw inspiration from the floral sculptures displayed throughout the Art in Bloom galleries as you create a one-of-a-kind fused glass work of art. In this hands-on class, participants will explore vibrant colors, simple shapes, and expressive textures while learning the fundamentals of glass-fusing techniques. Finished pieces will remain onsite to be kiln-fired to a glossy finish—perfect for displaying in a window, displaying on a mantle, or gifting to someone special.
Registrants will be contacted via email when their creations are ready for pickup. Please note that we cannot guarantee that the piece(s) will survive the firing process. In the event your piece(s) is damaged, students will have the option of remaking their works or can opt to receive a refund. All supplies will be provided. If you have questions regarding the class or registration, please email Senior Programs Manager Neely Simms at [email protected].
Registration includes access to Art in Bloom galleries!
