About this Event
Join us for this outdoor workshop on the benefits of beekeeping for your garden. You'll learn what solarizing is and how it can help you and benefit your garden at the same time. You'll also learn about cover crop options that will minimize the need for weeding over the hot months and benefit your soil too.
Class is FREE. Pre-registration is encouraged.
Please note: Class will be held outdoors, so bring a folding chair if you have one, and dress for the weather. Recording the presentation, either video or audio, is not permitted unless written permission is provided by the educator.
The University of Florida is committed to providing universal access to all of our events. For disability accommodations such as sign language interpreters and listening devices, please contact Beth Marlowe (bmarlowe@ufl.edu or 904-255-7450) at least 2 weeks in advance. Advance notice is necessary to arrange for some accessibility needs.
