Are you solar-curious and interested in our cost-saving group buy program? Join us for the year's first in-person educational Solar Power Hour at Common Ground Food Co-Op in Urbana!
Offered by the City of Urbana, the City of Champaign, Citizens' Utility Board and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, property owners throughout Champaign, Piatt, or Vermilion county are invited to participate in Solar Urbana-Champaign, a grassroots program combining volume purchasing with community education to make solar more accessible and affordable.
Regardless of where you live in the counties, you can participate in any of the free informational Solar Power Hours. You’ll learn about the basics of solar, its financial implications for a household, and how the solar group buy program works. After the session, get a free, no-obligation site assessment from the competitively selected installer.
Thank you to Common Ground Food Co-Op for hosting our event and helping promote the program!
