Join us for Solar Sizzle Father’s Day STEAM on Saturday, June 20th from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM at the Prunedale Youth Center!
Young Scientists will bond with Dad while building their very own solar hot dog cooker and putting it to the test.
This hands-on backyard BBQ-themed activity brings together engineering, solar energy, heat transfer, design thinking, and a little edible science as students create, experiment, and see how the sun can do the cooking. A fun, creative way to celebrate Father’s Day weekend with sunshine, science, and hot dogs!
