Curious about volunteering, community service, or supporting Special Olympics athletes in the Greater Whittier area? Join the SOLA Lions Club for our monthly in-person meetings, open to members and visitors alike.
We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at Sage Restaurant, and guests are always welcome to attend and see what we do—no membership required.
🕠 5:30 PM – Check-In & Social Time
Arrive early to say hello, meet fellow Lions and guests, and settle in for the evening.
🕕 6:00 PM – Club Meeting
Our meetings are upbeat, informative, and fun. We discuss upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved in meaningful service—typically wrapping up in about an hour.
🍽 Food & Beverages
Guests are welcome to order food and drinks from the menu—or not—as they wish. Each person pays individually for their own selections.
💙 What We Do
SOLA Lions proudly support Special Olympics athletes year-round, hosting six local sports competitions and community events annually. Each spring, we also produce a Charity Golf Tournament, which helps fund uniforms, competitions, celebrations, and ongoing support for athletes and teams.
