SOL SUMMIT by Matriarch Mixer and Amor Amigas
About this Event
Now in its second year, this wellness event brings together people from different backgrounds to explore how our cultures and life experiences influence the way we view health, prevention, and care. Many of us grew up without open talks at home about our bodies, health, or the importance of rest. This event is here to start those important conversations for women who need them.
Our cultural roots and stories shape how each of us approaches wellness, and this event celebrates those differences.
This half-day event takes you on a journey through three parts: Nourishment, Knowledge, and Replenish. Each part offers useful tips and meaningful experiences to take with you.
Nourishment
When you arrive, enjoy a welcome drink from the Fair Trade Cafe pop-up and help yourself to light snacks like fruit, yogurt, and a trail mix bar. This is a chance to settle in, connect with others, and start your self-care journey.
Knowledge
There will be two panel discussions on prevention and Mental Health, along with two guided activities to help you reflect on what you’ve learned. An open and honest conversation on topics we don't often talk about.
Panelist to be Announced.
