Friends of Manatee Lagoon invites you to Soirée for Seagrass! Join us, along with event emcee and award-winning Journalist Jay Cashmere, on Friday, November 8, 2024, along the beautiful waterfront at Manatee Lagoon for an evening of seagrass spritzers, specialty by-the-bites, live music, and a silent auction – as we raise awareness of the loss of seagrass, manatees’ primary food source.
This year’s very special guest is Dr. Guy Harvey, world-renowned artist, scientist, explorer, diver, angler, and dedicated conservationist fiercely devoted to his love of the sea. Dr. Harvey will be presented with a special award, honoring his continued dedication to marine conservation through the research and education work of the Guy Harvey Foundation.
