Soiled Airway Management Course – Hands-On CPD Session

🫁 What You’ll Learn

This course focuses on both basic and advanced airway management, with extensive hands-on practice including:

• Use of a SALAD manikin for realistic soiled airway scenarios

• Practical airway techniques using real tissue

• Management of heavily contaminated airways

• Strong emphasis on iGel insertion, reflecting the reduced use of ETI for paramedics

• Scenario-based learning and practical skill stations throughout

📜 Certification

A CPD certificate will be issued to all attendees upon completion of the session.

• FREC-qualified staff

• Pre-hospital clinicians

• Hospital staff

• Other junior grades looking to develop airway management skills

• Direct ScotRail services from Glasgow Central to Kilwinning (approx. 27–29 minutes)
