SOHMI is a Korean-American DJ, producer, and vocalist building a world around soulful connection on the dancefloor. Known for her versatility, depth, and introspective approach to club music, she creates lasting and memorable experiences that balance movement with meaning.
Over the past several years, SOHMI has built a reputation as a compelling performer with a refined, intentional presence. She has played major festivals including Coachella and Outside Lands, along with prestigious clubs and cultural spaces across the U.S. and abroad. Her sets are immersive and progressive, where hypnotic grooves, melodic tension, and her own original pop and UK deep house-inspired vocals come together in a distinctive form of club music that expertly blends underground dance and emotional storytelling.
At the center of SOHMI’s creative universe is Permission - her independent label and evolving concept. Originally launched in 2021 as a home for her own releases, Permission has grown into a guiding philosophy: an invitation for us to be who we are and to feel fully, honestly, and without apology. It reflects SOHMI’s belief that dance music, at its best, is a powerful and transformative force - creating spaces where people feel understood through sound and rhythm, connected to one another, and present.
