Software Crafters Meetup

Bazaar follows the best-in-class lean and extreme programming practices such as pair programming and test-driven development. We build on the latest technology stack such as a microservices based architecture, automated deployments (Kubernetes), Java 17+, Kafka, GraphQL, MongoDB, AWS, Spring boot, Kotlin and Jetpack compose to name a few.

Our Engineering team is on a mission to inspire and develop tech talent not only within the company but across Pakistan’s community and through this meetup we plan to take our goal forward!

Bazaar Technologies inspires developers to learn and connect as a community. We are organising a meetup so that we can help each other learn and grow.

At this meetup, attendees will have the opportunity to network with peers in their field, hear from experienced professionals, and learn new techniques and best practices. We will be learning about TDD (Test-Driven Development) and co-creation via Mob Programming.

Software crafting emphasizes writing high-quality, maintainable, sustainable, well-designed, easy to change code in order to produce valuable products according to the evolving market /business needs.

• 2:00 - 2.30: Network with the engineering community
• 2.30 - 3:00: A short introduction to TDD (Test-Driven Development) and Mob/Ensemble Programming
• 3:00 - 5:00: Coding kata to practice TDD in groups (No specific language requirements, we can code in any language of our choice)
• 5:00 - 5.30: Retro Session
• 5:30 - 6:00: Meal on the house!
