About this Event
SOFTIE
Softie is a bedroom solo-project-turned-slacker-rock-band from Oakland with heavy shoegaze influences. The four-piece is currently working on their first full-length record. Softie’s music balances delicate, melancholic introspection with a biting, fuzzed-out edge. The band has been praised for effortlessly blending slacker-rock aesthetics with evocative songwriting, creating a sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new.

PLUMMET
FKA Plum, Plummet’s emotionally direct sound draws as much from ambient music and noise as it does from more familiar forms of alternative rock. Based in Oakland, the trio of Jon Wilcox (vocals/guitar), Alex Liebman-Peláez (drums), and Luc Le Pottier (bass) communicates intensity through minimal arrangements, duration, and dynamics. Their debut record, No Offering (April 2026), finds autobiographical songs of memory and struggle submerged in extended drones and reverberant space.
Plummet has shared a stage over the years of their evolving sound with bands like Corridor (Montreal), Mia Joy (Chicago), Deeper (Chicago), and Closebye (New York).
