Soft Sculpture

For Ages 12 to 18 – Use textiles and other materials to create unique sculptural objects. Students will explore fiber arts techniques ranging from hand sewing, simple weaving, batik, and a variety of stuffing techniques to create three dimensional objects with fabric. Class projects will connect to historic and contemporary artists who use soft sculpture in their work and range from abstract shapes to representational fabric objects. All supplies are provided and included in the price of the class.

• Fridays, July 12 - August 16 (6 Class Meetings)
• 1pm -3pm

• $240/Student (tuition covers all meetings)
