NAS Soft Play Group at Play Palace in Halifax, sessions during the school holiday period.

The next session is on Tuesday October 25th at 10am until 11.30pm

When you arrive at the Play Palace let the staff at reception know you are joining the NAS group and they will direct you to where we are gathered.

To book a place please click the Eventbrite link below and book a place for the children/ young person only.

Carers/ parents do not need a ticket.

If your child is aged between 0 and 11 years old and has a diagnosis or awaiting a diagnosis come and join us. Parent/ Carers are responsible for their child at all times. The session provides an opportunity for friendships to form and for families to support each other.

There are 30 places and they will be booked, through Eventbrite, on a first come basis. If you have siblings who need to attend also please comment so Rebecca can determine places based on availability. There is a possibility you may need to pay for siblings… places dependent.

Please note that the venue remains open to the public and is not exclusive to NAS.

A £2 donation per child attending is suggested but not essential. Donations help support the sustainability of our sessions.

Please do email the branch on [email protected], post on the comments thread on the FB post or contact via messenger through the FB page if you would like any further information. Details of this event are also on the website calderdalenas.org.uk

The Calderdale Branch is run by volunteers and provides support/ activities to families affected by autism. We receive no income from National Autistic Society, everything is funded through fundraising/ donations. We provide activity groups for children/ young people plus a support network for parents/ carers. Our groups provide a safe environment for children, young people, parents/ carers. Volunteers are also involved with statutory organisations as the voice of branch members. Autism is potentially an isolating condition for the whole family. Our groups provide opportunities for friendships and fun, there is always a sense of belonging, something many struggle to achieve.
