Challenge yourself to take the next step in pastel! This one-day workshop is geared toward those who have already taken introductory pastel workshops, are fairly accomplished and comfortable with the medium, and have competent drawing skills. The morning projects will increase your technical skills; learn how application techniques, papers and color choices profoundly influence the final look and feel of your work. Our afternoon project will focus on our creative skills—the consideration of design and content in developing your images. To speed up the process, we will be working from photographic references for this workshop. See supply list for required materials. Bring a bag lunch. Cost $125/student
