About the Instuctor

Dr. Josh Vang

Dr. Vang was born and raised in the Twin Cities. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry at Carleton College. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006 from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. Dr. Vang began private practice soon after graduating in 2008 at Beyond Smiles DentalSpa where he’s been able to provide treatment in all aspects of dentistry from surgical to cosmetic treatments as well as facial aesthetics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, St. Paul District Dental Society and has recently become a member of the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics where he recently became certified for Botox and Dermal fillers and continues to strive for more.

Dr. Vang is one of the first dentists to open a laser focused med spa in Minnesota. He has been practicing all tissue laser procedures since 2016. His laser interests include facial aesthetics , photobiomodulation and non-ablative airway treatments. He is a modest, down to earth instructor with a zest for educating other dentists on the latest advancements in laser dentistry.
