In life, we sew a line with the thread we have available to us, unsure when that thread ends or if it will break. Concurrently, we sow the seeds of what we hope will turn into blooming, weathering the climate’s unpredictability. We weave in and out of each other, whether it’s strengthening a seam or compromising stability. Sometimes, we splinter and become threadbare. But more often than not, we gather to create something greater than we could have ever dreamed of alone. These concepts are the central premises of s(o)(e)wing, diving into the mediums of textiles as reflections of our own behavior.
