About this Event

Join us for a SODA Talk exploring the power of art, culture and creativity in driving meaningful change. Drawing on their experience in climate justice, creative producing and community organising, Farah will share insights into how creative practice can bring people together, amplify underrepresented voices and inspire collective action.

Farah Ahmed

Farah (she/they) is a freelance organiser, facilitator, creative producer and curator, working to build powerful movements for climate justice through culture and creativity. They co-founded Our Diaspora Futures collective, coordinate the Co-Creating Change Alliance, and were formerly the first Climate Justice Lead at Julie's Bicycle.

Farah works across the UK and internationally to develop place-based culture strategies, training for marginalised communities, climate leadership programmes, toolkits and guides, artistic commissions, and mentoring for narrative change towards climate justice, having collaborated with organisations including Friends of the Earth, Public Interest Research Centre, and Climate Outreach.

Farah is a trustee of Platform, Our Green Mosaic, and D6: Culture in Transit, a Clore Leadership fellow, and sits on multiple advisory boards focused on arts-led collective action for climate justice.
