Socio Camp XII, presented by Mercedes-Benz x Honda and co-sponsored by DHEU, is the nation’s Premier Idea-Generation competition dedicated to fostering social awareness and driving meaningful impact. Since its inception, the platform has brought together the brightest university students from across Bangladesh, offering them the opportunity to showcase bold, innovative solutions to some of society’s most pressing challenges.The journey of Socio Camp began in 2010 as an intra-university competition under the name YACC. Expanding in 2011, it became an inter-university event, opening its doors to participants from Dhaka-based institutions. By 2012, it had grown into a nationwide competition, welcoming students from every region of Bangladesh and solidifying its reputation as a hub of innovation and social change.
The competition follows a structured three-round format designed to refine and spotlight the best ideas. The first two rounds include workshops to guide participants, with only the top 30 teams advancing to present their concepts before a panel of distinguished judges. From there, the five to six most outstanding teams earn their place on the grand finale stage—the most vibrant and anticipated part of the event.
This year, a "Total prize pool of BDT 500,000 awaits the Winners". The Champion Team will receive BDT 210,000, the First Runner-up BDT 160,000, and the Second Runner-up BDT 100,000. Additionally, the teams securing Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth positions will each be awarded BDT 10,000.

The registration for Socio Camp XII is open now & it will remain open until "25th September 2025". To secure participation, each team is required to pay a registration fee of BDT 500. Teams must consist of 3 to 4 members from the same university, ensuring collaborative representation from their institution.
