Society of Professional Journalists Region 10 Conference

The Society of Professional Journalists is conducting its annual regional conference for journalists in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. We will be meeting in-person at The Seattle Times, as well as online. Among the topics we will be discussing this year will include working with submitted photos, covering issues of homelessness among the trans community, nonprofit business models for journalism, freedom of information and journalistic ethics. We will also present the Mark of Excellence Award to recognize the best journalism being produced by our region's college students.

We are proud to announce this year's conference is sponsored by The Seattle Times and the Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs Journalism at Ohio University.
