SocialHeart Volunteer & Cheers: With Save, Inc.

Save, Inc. will be co-hosting a Christmas Benefit Concert for Pride Haven - SAVE, Inc.'s overnight shelter for transition-aged youth (aged 18-24) facing homelessness - on the 12th of December, and have asked for some help from the community to decorate the venue and help get set up - that's where you come in!

On Thursday, December 5- SocialHeart will bring a group of young professionals to Avondale United Methodist Church to help bring the holiday cheers to the venue and get it ready for showtime! And then, we'll do a holiday "cheers" of our own as we head over to Sail Away Wine around 8:00PM.

Are you looking for a way to meet new people through volunteer service? Do you love putting up the holiday decorations at your own place? Through SocialHeart's "Volunteer & Cheers" events, you can do good, make friends, and give back to local charities in the Kansas City community!

But wait - a holiday concert - doesn't that sound fun? Thanks to the lovely folks at Save, Inc. - they have agreed that our volunteers can get a free ticket to the December 12th show if they make a small donation of the following items:

• Styrofoam Cups (for hot cocoa!)
• Pre-Built Gingerbread Houses
• Canisters of Hot Cocoa
• Holiday themed napkins
• Holiday themed plates
