About this Event

The purpose of social venture meetup is to bring together individuals with a shared interest in social ventures in order to provide a platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among those interested in and those working towards positive social impact through social venture initiatives.

Join us May 28th from 6-8pm at the Keystone CoLab for a talk with Aijia Morris, Founder of the Greenline Initiative, LocalCode Kansas City, Wealth Innovation Fellow with the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program. She is currently working to create vehicles that increase generational wealth through redistributing ownership in historically marginalized and excluded communities. Additionally, Ajia helps transform renters into homeowners by providing access to nontraditional financing and creating a marketplace for investment. She is devoted to revitalizing and transforming the neighborhoods on the Eastside of Kansas City, Missouri, by empowering families and providing them with opportunities to build wealth by investing in their communities through real estate development projects.

Come, be inspired, and contribute to shaping a better future. We're excited to welcome you!
