Social Sunday is Creative Worship Center’s call to begin this new season under the instruction of the Holy Spirit.

August 23 was intentionally selected as universities, colleges and local schools begin a new year. Students are not beginning this season alone. Families, educators, healthcare professionals, researchers, business owners, innovators, cultural leaders and neighbors are also entering new responsibilities, decisions and assignments.

Social Sunday brings the community together for worship, prayer, prophetic instruction, connection and spiritual direction.

At Creative Worship Center, the Holy Spirit speaks and the people obey. We believe the Kingdom of God must shape more than Sunday. It must govern how we study, teach, heal, discover, build, create, lead and serve when Monday comes.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE

WORSHIP IN HIS PRESENCE

This is not performance-centered worship. We gather to respond to God and give the Holy Spirit our full attention.

PRAYER FOR YOUR NEXT SEASON

Prayer will be offered for students, families and those entering new seasons of responsibility. We will pray for clarity, protection, wisdom, obedience and spiritual strength.

CONNECTION AND SPIRITUAL DIRECTION

Purpose at CWC is not reduced to personal ambition. It concerns Kingdom assignment, obedience and responsibility. Social Sunday provides an opportunity to receive spiritual direction for carrying what God has entrusted to you beyond the church gathering.

WHO IS INVITED?

Social Sunday is for the whole community, including:

• Families and children
• Students from universities, colleges, community colleges and local schools
• Educators and professors
• Healthcare professionals
• Researchers, innovators and biotechnology professionals
• Business owners and entrepreneurs
• Artists and cultural leaders
• Chapel Hill residents and neighboring communities

Children are welcome to attend with their families.

2. Follow the driveway into the onsite parking lot.
