Join the Des Moines Art Center’s September Social Saturday event: Great Outdoors! Enjoy crafts in the Art School studios, a scavenger hunt, and a special drop-in curator chat for the Art Center's newest acquisition, Jeffrey Gibson’s monumental sculpture “nashoba holba / wayaha / coyote / they are witty and transform themselves in order to guide us.” Plus, enjoy a unique conversation between artist Elle Pérez and Associate Curator Ashton Cooper, family storytime, treats in the Art Center Café, and so much more.
