WATCAC invites you and your plus ones, twos, or threes to Dine for a Cause at Grill’d Carousel. Work up an appetite by joining us for the ride beforehand or just come for lunch. Details below.
THE RIDE
Start Time: Assemble at 9:45 for 10:15AM departure
Start Point: City of Canning Council parking on the corner of Civic Gardens and Carden Drive (opposite Wharf St at Albany Highway).
Distance: 28km at most, pretty flat.
This is an out and back ride on bike paths and quiet roads around Canning River Foreshore and Shelley.
THE LUNCH
Start time: 12:00 Noon
Location: Grill’d Carousel
Details: WATCAC DINE FOR A CAUSE $25 Standard Burger and Chips deal. For every deal purchased WATCAC receives a $10 donation, and you get an extra voting token for our Local Matters Jar. If you haven’t tried Grill’d before, they do a pretty good burger, that isn’t anything like one from one of those other burger joints. They can cater for all food allergies, whether it be gluten or nut allergies and even have a good range of vegan options.
This part of the program will NOT be affected by weather and will go ahead regardless of the forecast.
