Are you a parent concerned about the impact of social media and AI chatbots on your children? Join Blue Rising on November 20th from 6:30-8:30pm in Boulder for an informative discussion on the risks our kids face online and learn from impacted families.
- District Attorney Michael Dougherty will share up to date information on what is happening in Boulder and the issues are youth are facing.
- Dr. Joel Stoddard, a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Children’s Hospital Colorado will share the latest research and recommendations for parents.
- Attorney General Phil Weiser will share the work his office is doing to address these risks by requiring social media companies to make their products safe for kids.

The event is being co-hosted by Senator Judy Amabile, Representative Kyle Brown, Representative Lesley Smith, Boulder Mayor Aaron Brocket, The Parent Engagement Network, Natural Highs, The Kempe Foundation and McBride Impact and Youth in Recovery.
The event will be live interpreted into Spanish and there will be materials in English and Spanish.
