In observance of April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we will be hosting Sheletta Thomas RN, BSN, AA-SANE, Vandalia Health CAMC’s SANE Program Coordinator. A Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner is a registered nurse who has specialized education and clinical preparation in the medical and forensic care of victims of crime. Vandalia Health offers comprehensive care and treatment of victims of sexual assault 24/7. She will provide an overview of the types of sexual assault and the SANE services available for the Charleston community.
