About this Event
The Social Innovation Challenge is an opportunity for students from disciplines across the University of Arkansas to showcase their work and take their social impact ideas to the next level. Whether you’re developing an idea in a class, with a team, or independently, the Social Innovation Challenge is designed to help you communicate your idea and find the support you need to move it forward.
Speakers Hugh Churchill and Doug Hutchings will also share more about their CleanARAir project, a low-cost solution to accessible air filters to reduce the number of respiratory particles causing COVID19 in local schools. In addition to providing the air filter, the team created class curriculum to turn the building process into a learning experience for the classroom.
This is an in-person event with the option to view virtually. Please register to access the Zoom link.
*Masks are required indoors – regardless of vaccination status – when at least 6-feet of social distancing can’t be maintained.*
