About this Event

Join us for a Social Impact Institute: Learning Lab workshop, "Grants 101: Grant Writing, Grantor Research, and Program Evaluation," where we will demystify the grant seeking process. From proposal narratives to budget forms, from outcome measures to funder relationships, we will cover the all the basics you need to know to submit quality grant proposals to potential funders (and, properly manage your grants once received).

This workshop will be held in-person from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (lunch included), at the Community Foundation's Claude Moore Nonprofit Training Center (714 East Market Street, Leesburg, VA 20176).

About the Presenters

Amy Owen, nonprofit consultant and founder of AEOwen LLC, and Nicole Acosta, President & CEO of the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties, have 40+ years combined of nonprofit experience, including development, nonprofit management, grant writing, and grant making.

About the Social Impact Institute

The Social Impact Institute, a program of the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties, offers personalized support, specialized training, and in-depth programming for nonprofit executives, professionals, and boards. Current and previous Social Impact Institute programs include Leading for Success executive coaching program, Board Chair Roundtable, Executive Directors Retreat, Leadership Institute, Advancing Development, Maximizing Mission, Collective Ownership and in-depth trainings under the Learning Lab workshop series.
