Social Good Place Happy Hour: Set Your Resolution (Causes With Fortitude)

Social Good Place’s January 2026 Happy Hour is not about novelty, or the idea of “new year, new you.” This Happy Hour celebrates local work on behalf of causes that have historically faced great adversity and have persevered through their tenacity, creativity, and intention. This theme acknowledges the reality that making change is more than challenging - whether it’s fighting historic marginalization, lack of awareness, lack of systemic support, or conflicts within movements - but that those of us who make change do so with resolve.

Five community projects will present their work to you, the community, for a vote on which project will receive Social Good Place's $1000 microgrant. Opportunities for impact do not end there - you will also be able to donate to and network with our presenters (and others interested in making social change!) throughout the night.
