Soccer Injury Prevention Training Clinic
Schedule
Wed Jun 17 2026 at 05:30 pm to 07:00 pm
UTC-04:00Location
Catholic Central HS Athletic Center | Grand Rapids, MI
Our curriculum is built on the FIFA 11+ injury prevention method, used by professional clubs worldwide. Developed by FIFA's Medical Assessment and Research Centre, the 11+ has been shown to reduce lower limb injuries by up to 50%. In this clinic, athletes and coaches alike will learn a structured warm-up routine designed to improve neuromuscular control, balance, core stability, and movement mechanics — the building blocks of a long, healthy playing career. We would love to have coaches participate alongside their players: the more familiar you are with the routine, the easier it is to implement it every single session. Whether your player is just getting started or competing at a high level, these habits will serve them on every pitch, every season.
What to expect:
-A guided walkthrough of the complete 11+ warm-up sequence
-Hands-on coaching with an emphasis on proper technique and form — for athletes and coaches
-Education on why each exercise matters and how it reduces injury risk
-Takeaway materials so players, coaches, and parents can reinforce the routine at home
Location: Catholic Central Athletic Complex (C.A.T.) — 2770 Knapp St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525
**In the event of inclement weather, the clinic will move indoors.
