LORO: TEXAS BARBECUE + ASIAN FLAVORS
In 2018, culinary legends Aaron Franklin, of Franklin Barbecue, and Tyson Cole, of Uchi, merged their two loves of Asian and Texas cuisine together to create Loro. This Austin favorite is an Asian smokehouse featuring grilled and smoked meats with Southeast Asian and Japanese-inspired sauces, sides, and a communal dining experience that encourages sharing and conversation.
