So You Still Want to Make a Magazine? Lessons from Early Years Publishers
About this Event
Thinking about starting a magazine? Wondering what it looks like from the inside? Come hear real stories from people who have really made magazines—recently! Come chat about the early stages, challenges, and adventures of independent magazine publishing with Xavier Snelgrove () and Isaac Nikolai Fox () and hosted by Nicola Hamilton of Serviette. Let’s dig into how magazines became magazines, how good ideas became real things, and all the messy, tricky, fun and exciting steps in between. Bring your questions, and your own good ideas. We can’t wait to talk!
This in-person workshop is free to attend. However, if you have the means, we invite you to consider a donation to The Word On The Street as a way of helping to keep these arts events accessible for everyone into the future.
