Are you new to writing and just putting together your first website? Or are you ready to revamp your old website? Websites aren’t as static as they seem. Aside from adding your latest release, you can make your website an interactive and interesting place for readers to hang out. Let them go down the rabbit hole to find out more about you and your characters.
But what about the technical aspects? What should be on your website? Why is a reader on your website anyway?
The answers are different for everyone, and this program will provide not only basic technical aspects, but design possibilities, content, and funsies.
Presenter bio: Alyssa Alexander is a USA Today Bestselling author who survives the cold Michigan winters by penning romance novels that always include a bit of adventure. Her books have been translated into multiple languages, received Top Picks from RT, Publisher Weekly Starred Reviews, and nominated for RT Best First Historical. When not working at her day job, writing, cleaning house, scaling Mount Laundry, or doing any of the other tasks a wife, mother and writer must do, she can usually be found with a book in her hand. And maybe a drink with a paper umbrella.
Join us starting at noon for social time and lunch (participants are responsible for purchasing their own lunches) and a brief business meeting, followed by the presentation. Guests are allowed to attend two meetings before being asked to join the group.
