About this Event
Girthy Gochu and Tucson Love Letter are hosting the So! Silly! market — a celebration of art that’s absurd, unserious, whimsy and maybe a teensy bit (or a lot a bit oops) explicit.
WHEN: 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at the lovely Coalition Space, 311 E. 7th St. The majority of this market is INDOORS because we love AC!!!!
WHO: We recommend this event for ages 18+ as some items may be explicit!
WHAT: 17 amazing art vendors, plus the coolest hot dogs on the planet and DELICIOUS coffee/drinks! Expect stickers, jewelry, baked goods, keychains, prints, apparel and more!
There will be two tattoo artists with the SILLIEST flash sheets! PLUS, live doodle portraits and a donation drive in support of mutual-aid group ALMA. They're in need of shelf-stable snacks, ramen cup noodles, toilet paper, hand warmers, travel-size deodorant, toothpaste, travel-size shampoo/conditioner, trash bags, plastic bags, reusable water bottles, socks, gently-used tops, gently-used bottoms and chapstick. If ya can, please bring something to support them. <3
FREE THINGS: We'll have a FREE STICKER EXCHANGE ~ bring stickers, take stickers! We'll also have a stamp rally — the first 30 people who complete the stamp rally will receive special prizes curated by participating vendors. AND the first 50 people who attend the market will recieve a FREE EXCLUSIVE So! Silly! mini bag (limit: one per attendee). FREE COTTON CANDY AND POPCORN TOOOOO (first, come first served!!).
