As the winter chill sets in and the spirit of the holidays fills the air, we are delighted to present an evening of enchanting harp music, celebrating the magic and wonder of Christmas. The gentle, celestial tones of the harp have long been associated with peace and serenity, making it the perfect instrument to capture the warmth and joy of this special season.
You will be taken on a musical journey through timeless Christmas carols, festive melodies, and wintry serenades. The rich history and beauty of the harp, combined with the familiar sounds of holiday classics, will stir memories of fireside gatherings, softly falling snow, and the shared moments that make this time of year so meaningful and bright. Reflect on the year that has passed or revel in the hope of the season ahead, we invite you to relax and let the graceful music of the harp fill your heart with the true spirit of Christmas.
This event will take place at St Faiths Church, West Street, Havant. Doors open at 4:30pm, with performance to start at 5:00pm. Tickets are £10 and will include a free complimentary drink and mince pie.

Artist Bio:
Fran is an award-winning harpist based in West Sussex. Fran graduated with honours (2015) from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and has a Masters Degree in Education from Bath University (2022). Fran has been lucky enough to study with some of the most incredible harpists of this generation including Catherine White, Eleanor Turner, Gabriella Dall’Olio, Charlotte Seale, Louisa Maria Cordell, Anne Hughes Chamberlain and more.
Fran is extremely proud of her diverse portfolio career. Fran is Director of the PoppyHarp Harp Studio where she manages and performs in the PoppyHarp Composers Project, coordinates the PoppyHarp Competitive Harp Festival each January, guest lectures at universities, teaches harp privately, online and face-to-face and performs all around the UK. Fran has enjoyed performing at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Birmingham Town Hall, Chichester Festival Hall, Chichester Minerva Theatre, St Johns Smith Square and many more.
