Speakers:

Piyush Gupta, Program Director, Storage Engineering, IBM and SNIA India Board member. Piyush has been in the storage and virtualization industry for around 20. Piyush has been instrumental in building high performing teams making an impact in Storage industry with their innovation and delivery specially in space of Storage & Hybrid Cloud , Automation , Resiliency , Security , Networking , AIOPs , SRE and more.

Kedar Karmarkar is Storage Software development and solution architect with IBM Storage Scale development team in Pune. He has 25+ years of experience in the industry and is currently working on enabling global data platform for Hybrid Cloud solutions and its customer success.

Ankush is an experienced software development manager at IBM, with expertise in delivering management and monitoring solutions for software defined storage across containerized and on-premises environments, particularly in the opensource ecosystem. He has a proven track record in developing solutions for storage management, including OpenShift Console (PV/PVC/SC management), Gluster management, and currently Ceph management.

Bipin comes with 11+ years of experience of working on several software-defined storages like Luster, Gluster, OpenShift Data Foundation, and Ceph. In his current role, he is responsible for handling all the engineering escalations for OpenShift Data Foundation and Ceph products for Red Hat and IBM customers.

Sandeep Patil works as a storage security architect with IBM labs and has over 18 years of extensive product architecture and design experience. Sandeep is an IBM STSM and IBM Master Inventor with over 200+ US patents in the field of storage, cloud, security, filesystem, etc and is listed by Wikipedia in World's Prolific Inventor list. Anindya is currently working as a Technical Director and Architect for scale out purpose build storage solutions for backup and long term retention. He is also interested in complexities of distributed system and control plane to manage such distributed systems. Anindya has more than 30 patents issued by USPTO in his name.
