Pre COVID - the Inverness Business Fives group in partnership with CHAS, (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland) have staged the Sneckie Insomnia Soccer five a side OVERNIGHT festival at Inverness Leisure Centre, Bught Park in January for three years.
Last year’s event raised £23,000, its highest-ever total, for Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) and Save the Children Ukraine Fund. This will be the second year the event has been hosted at Canal Park and we are aiming to break the £100,000 barrier across all five events.
The aim is to encourage folk of all ages to share both the physical benefits of the game and the privilege of raising funds to support CHAS to deliver its services throughout the Highlands and Islands.
CHAS provides respite and end-of-life care for children with life-shortening conditions and their families, across Scotland. In the Highlands, families are supported by a specialist CHAS at Home nursing team based in Inverness.

Format
Youngsters will take part during the day building on their successful involvement last year and the adults will pick up the baton in the early evening. The adult event will comprise a series of mini tournaments of up to six sides from common sectors
Each team should set a target of raising £250 sponsorship. However, we encourage you to go above that target. Upon registering your entry you will receive sponsorship forms to help you reach your target.
