Snazzy Productions is thrilled to announce an electrifying evening of punk-infused bluegrass when Water Tower once again takes the stage at the legendary Kuumbwa Jazz Center
Hailing from Los Angeles, Water Tower is a bluegrass, old-time, and punk rock band founded in 2005 by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Kenny Feinstein. Fueled by masterful song-crafting, a fiercely DIY approach, and a genre-bending sonic identity, the band fuses bluegrass and old-time revivalism with a distinctly punk rock edge — drawing influences from Bill Monroe and Foghorn String Band to Rancid and Black Flag.
The current lineup features Kenny Feinstein on lead vocals, guitar, and fiddle; Tommy Drinkard on vocals, banjo, and guitar; Jesse Blue Eads on vocals and banjo; Taylor Estes on vocals and bass; and John Seltzer on backing vocals and mandolin. Together they bring an explosive energy to every stage they grace, earning a devoted following of fans who call themselves "The Owls."
The band has drawn raves from across the music world. Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray called them "the world's greatest bluegrass band," praising their originality and songwriting, while Nick Hexum of 311 lauded their "hot licks and amazing pickin'."
