MEMO MUSIC HALL, ST KILDA is the second stop on the SnarskiCircusLindyBand national tour, launching their much anticipated debut album "what's said and what's left unsaid".
SnarskiCircusLindyBand showcases the powerful songwriting collaboration between Rob Snarski (Blackeyed Susans) and Lindy Morrison (Go-Betweens) and boasts a formidable lineup of musical talent. Rob shares vocal duties with the other band members as SCLB weave through a rich tapestry of genres, from country-tinged ballads to post-punk-glam-pop, bringing some deeply personal stories to life with gentle humour and beauty.
Rob and Lindy are joined by legendary pedal steel player ‘Evil’ Graham Lee (Triffids/Blackeyed Susans), accomplished guitarist and producer Shane O'Mara (Rebecca's Empire/Silversound), with respected musician and pop visionary Dan Kelly on bass. Guest vocalists on the new album include – Romy Vager (RVG) Amanda Brown (Go-Betweens) and Lili Alaska.
SCLB has released two well-received mini albums – ‘Someone Said That Someone Said’ and ‘I Know I Know’ which both garnered positive mentions in UK’s Mojo Magazine. The band has toured through parts of Australia and Rob & Lindy also tour in duo-mode.
At MEMO the band will be joined by special guest Romy Vager (RVG) and support comes from Belle Phoenix & Jeffrey Wegener. Those of you may remember Jeffrey as the incredible drummer of Ed Kuepper's Laughing Clowns.
