Join us for the release of our new Snaps Series and celebrate a bold, fruit forward addition to the Long Road lineup. Inspired by European βsnapsβ and βschnapps,β Head Distiller Karl Scripter asked a simple question: what if the fruit pulp left behind from juicing for our liqueurs and cocktails could be reborn as its own spirit? The answer is Long Road Snaps, overproof and expressive spirits distilled with Michigan grown fruit and our winter wheat vodka.
These are not flavored vodkas or liqueurs. Each release captures the essence of the fruit pulp through soaking, careful redistilling, and bottling at 101 proof, resulting in bright and elegant flavors from farm to glass.
STRAWBERRY SNAPS
Crafted from the pulp of pressed Michigan strawberries used in our seasonal cocktail menus. Tasting Notes: Ripe fruit; gentle creaminess; smooth, red fruit finish.
RASPBERRY SNAPS
Crafted from the pulp of pressed Michigan raspberries used in the making of our Raspberry Liqueur. Tasting Notes: Bright, fruity berry; subtly floral; clean, crisp finish.
