Want to learn more about local, nature-based solutions to climate change? Join this panel discussion & hands-on activities to take action!
Nature in the City , Garden for the Environment , and Sutro Stewards have joined forces!
Our new collaboration, Sunset Nature Advocacy Partnership (SNAP) kicks off on Saturday, October 30th at in Garden for the Environment’s north outdoor classroom. We’re excited to showcase our new partnership and create more climate resiliency in the Sunset!
The event will combine a panel discussion on San Francisco's Climate Action Plan, plus hand's-on activities and demonstrations of climate actions we can take here in the city.
After this event, SNAP will continue to engage with our communities and highlight nature-based solutions to climate change, through stimulating educational panels, fun and informative guided walks & hikes, and hands-on experiences -- all outdoors. The partnership will build upon each others’ strengths and highlight how each organization’s work supports climate-resilient strategies, as set forth in San Francisco's updated Climate Action Plan.
Many thanks to SHARP for the generous funding provided to make this collaboration possible!
