Explore the snake diversity of Swatara State Park where we will spend the evening on a guided hike searching for snakes!This is the perfect opportunity to learn about snake habitat, the species we have in PA, and how to tell the difference between venomous and non-venomous snakes. This is a perfect way to introduce yourself to a commonly feared and misunderstood creature of our ecosystem.
We will meet at sand siding parking lot and walk along the trail. At no point will anyone be able to handle a snake, it is strictly visual observation. It is advised to bring comfortable walking shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, and a full water bottle.
