Snail Trails Toddler walks

Suitable for children aged 18 months to 4 years (and their adults). Older and younger siblings are also welcome, but please bear in mind these walks are unsuitable for buggies / prams. Babies are welcome to attend in a sling / carrier.

Each walk is approximately 1 - 2 km long, with a snack break half way (we provide hot drinks and biscuits), where we carry out a nature based activity or nature craft.

Sessions are funded and so free but please book a place for each adult and child attending to ensure we stay within ratios.

Please ensure that you bring the following items with you. Rochdale weather, as you

are probably aware is unpredictable and often very wet. If you have any queries about

1. Sturdy footwear (ideally boots or wellies with a good grip)

2. Waterproof coat (essential)

3. Waterproof trousers

4. A warm jumper (it can get a bit windy)

5. Sun hat and suncream (maybe?)

6. Water bottle with water

7. Snacks (we will have at least 1 rest stop)

8. Hat and gloves

9. A travel mug if you have one. (I will provide a hot drink and biscuits for everyone).

10. Spare socks
